James "Coop" Cooper
Construction Specialist, Co-founder
Having been bitten by the “construction” bug very early in life, James Cooper (aka “Coop”) knew his career path by Middle School when a contractor was hired to renovate the attic of his childhood home into a new bedroom. Coop would eagerly rush home from school each day to see that day’s progress. His father further encouraged Coop’s love for “fixing” things and taught him that anything that had been built, could be fixed.
While attending Central Montco Technical High School, Coop not only worked at a hardware store, but operated his own home repair company. He was senior class foreman and eventually graduated at the top of his class. After graduation he began building concrete foundations and trained to be a heavy equipment operator. After a couple years he started his almost four-decade career with Custom Woodcraft Builders.
Now Coop has joined with a group of fellow professionals at MACCS Construction to continue building. We will be focusing on both Residential construction and Commercial projects. Coop has an impeccable reputation for being a hardworking man of integrity with solid ethics. His decades of extensive experience allow him to continually spot “potential issues” before they arise, saving everyone both time and money. His father’s “anything that is built can be fixed” attitude leaves clients feeling well taken care and confident they are in good hands when Coop is in charge.
Coop has been happily married to his wife Wendy for over 24 years. They and their two children Austin and Madison live in King of Prussia and are very active in their local church. The family enjoys traveling and time at the beach
